Franking is a mechanism to get documents stamped, thereby giving legal approval to the payor that taxes have been duly paid to the government. Franking is the process of stamping documents/instruments, indicating that they are legal and that the stamp duty has been paid.
Validity of Franking
The validity of franking stamp duty is 6 months from the date of purchase / printing on paper.
